Pagoda Walk

This week on Bonnie's PAF our challenge is: "to showcase any piece of photo art, OR a piece featuring our interpretation of a path or a road." I choose to do something "out of my comfort zone and/or expertise - so to speak" because I haven't played much with the different artistic filters. I wanted to try a "painterly" affect and the new CS6 Beta. So, here goes.

Original Photo in Bejing
[looks really lovely enlarged, click on the photo to do so... thx]

Pagoda Walk

Layers (for your perusal)

Had to try one more with Bonnie's new "Antique Farewell" texture.
Thanks, Bonnie, you are so generous with your gifts.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful photography. Have a great weekend :)

Great job on both the pics! The painterly effect worked well and the subtle texture on Endless Walk works well too.

I love the painterly effect, Karen! I think I can do something similar in Elements, too. And the Endless Walk is so similar to the wonderful Central Park location!
