We are on schedule for completion of our Lacebook RR; it took about six months from beginning to end. If photos come my way of the other five, I will post the covers and spines on my Mixed Media Page. Other photos are on that page also. This one weighs 3# and has a 4.5" spine width. Thanks for your support, love, and patience following this to fruition.
We stopped at the Wildlife Conservation Center around Turnagain on the return trip home Sunday. I enjoy seeing the bears the most. They must be "out" in full force this year because I have seen several non-captive bear, also.
Must admit that there are still a few "achy" bones in this "bod" after the five mile walk Saturday; but, thoroughly enjoyed it. Did three mile walks last week, but keeping the same pace for five was a bit harder. Enjoyed sharing the experience with family.
Thanks to all those who support and help fund this wonderful cause for Breast Cancer Awareness. Over seven thousand women attended and earned more than $160,000.
Couldn't resist trying Bonnie's "challenge" this week after watching her video on the satin-like gradient map technique.
I decided to take a break from PAF for the summer to focus on commitments and obligations that need to be completed; I always feel sad when I am unable to comment on each post. This week I won't be able to "post comments" until Sunday night; and, will make every effort to at least comment on those who comment on my post. Meanwhile, I so appreciate the feedback. Love and hugs from Alaska. Karen
Received Teri's Lacebook after work tonight and have put several photos up of the pages I did for her book on my Mixed Media Page.
This will conclude our Lacebook Collaborative - now on to binding my beautiful book which was returned to me today, also. It is unbelievable. After it is bound, I will include a complete section on FB with a public link here.
