Snow Geese

We are blessed to see the Snow Geese migrate. This spring across the Kenai Flats is no exception. I drove to/from work for 30 years via this route and always enjoyed the changing view with beautiful Cook Inlet and Mt. Redoubt, animals and birds, flora and fauna.

This is beautiful.
The landscape looks very much like the farm fields
where I live.
...until I noticed the mountains :)
Indiana does not have those :)

Gorgeous shot of these snow geese, and what a view to enjoy on a daily basis. do you ever get tired of it??? So stunning... looks as if the mountains are airbrushed in. Hugs from Texas

Wow Karen, I love this photo!!!! I saw a group of Canadian geese last Thursday and there was one lone Snow Goose flying with them. It must have gotten lost from its flock. Beautiful, beautiful photos!
Hugs,
Chris :o)

I remember the thrill of seeing the geese congregate in the flats there each spring. Thanks for reminding me of that.

What beautiful photos! I envy you so much :) Well, right now, anyway. I live in Louisiana and it just gets to be stifling. Some days, the heat is just overpowering and a long for a cool retreat. I have become a follower so that I can pop in often. So glad to have "met" you.
