They are beautiful and you are catching them from lots of lovely angles. I loved snapping mine when they were in flower too.

I have three inside now, with one about to bloom. This is a beautiful color and your photo does do it justice. :)

I love your photos of the amaryllis. There is a wonderful story in one of my books ( have to look for it) If I can find it , I will mail it to you. Before my mother died, she and her best friend were both bedbound, but spent many long nights talking on the phone. I obught them both an amaryllis before christmas, and they spent lots of time comparing their amaryllises, and wondering whose would bloom first. So much fun and excitement. Well my mom's friends bloomed first and my mom felt like she had "lost the race", but then when hers bloomed, she had twice as many blossoms, and after it bloomed once, and whole new stalk came up, and it bloomed again. So this is a flower that has special meaning to me..... but, the short story I am thinking of has so much meaning. You would enjoy it. Will try to see if i can find it..... Blessings to you.

A very beautiful flower, beautiful colors. I can see why you could some a lot of time with it. I love all the images, but I really do like what the textures have done with the background.
