PAF B/W e-Dition

Couldn't resist trying Bonnie's "challenge" this week after watching her video on the satin-like gradient map technique.
I decided to take a break from PAF for the summer to focus on commitments and obligations that need to be completed; I always feel sad when I am unable to comment on each post. This week I won't be able to "post comments" until Sunday night; and, will make every effort to at least comment on those who comment on my post. Meanwhile, I so appreciate the feedback. Love and hugs from Alaska. Karen

I love Peonies, this one is beautiful, the monochrome shows up the shapes of the petals and gives the picture a wonderful abstract look, great!

I agree with Ruth. Your treatment has given the peony a great abstract look. Lovely work Karen. Thanks for sharing it with PAF!

Beautiful! - Love how full the bloom is and then the Satin look combined with the wonderful feathery look on some of the petals makes this very pleasing o the eye.

The petals of the peony take prominence in a black and white. Lovely. V
