Easter Nostalgia

     Easter Blessings to All

Found this b/w photography from April, 1960; just had to post. The photo reminds me of Mom sewing our dresses for holidays on her Husqvarna Viking sewing machine. None of us girls carried on the tradition; but, Mom was truly a gifted seamstress.

What a wonderful photo and what a blessing to have a mom who was so talented! And to think many of us say we don't have time...it amazes me that your mom found the time to make your dresses....just beautiful! Happy Easter!

Lovely photo of you and your sisters in your pretty outfits! :)
My mother was also a talented seamstress, though I never heard her refer to her skill as such. And with only one daughter, she was sadly shortchanged in the model department. I don't recall her ever sewing clothing for my brothers.
