Destination Hope Junction

Photos taken September 24th on a drive to Hope Junction, to/from the Kenai/Soldotna area. This should be the end of our fall colors, with wind and rain lately. Hope you enjoy the views.

I haven't visited your blog in awhile....I'm sorry to say! Oh these images are so wonderful. I think the two bridge scenes and the one with the river in the forest are my favorites! Is the yellow poplar? In this part of the country yellow among the green would be Tamarack (Western Larch). Absolutely fabulous images, Karen!

Oh Karen these images are so incredible - love the second to last one of the Autumn trees reflected in the water.
Sending hugs and love,
Suzy

Oh my goodness!!!!! I dont think I have ever seen such vibrant yellow folliage. You have a keen eye with your camera-- truly these pictures are so lovely. Our fall is so lovely also -- but yours seem so very vibrant -- are you ready for what is coming next? When will it start to snow?
